5-star WR Jerome Myles decommits from USC, Texas A&M now trending
West Jordan (Utah) Corner Canyon five-star wide receiver Jerome Myles has decommitted from USC, he announced on Sunday evening.
The one-time Ole Miss commit was pledged to the Trojans since Sept. 18. He is coming off a visit to Texas A&M this weekend. On3’s Steve Wiltfong has placed a pick in the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine in favor of the Aggies landing Myles.
“After talking with my family and god I’ve decided to decommit from the University of Southern California, please respect my decision,” Myles wrote announcing his decision on Instagram.
The 6-foot-3, 215-pound Myles is the No. 24 overall prospect in the 2025 class, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He also ranks as the nation’s No. 4 wide receiver and top recruit in Utah.
Myles was one of two five-stars in USC’s 2025 recruiting class, alongside five-star quarterback Husan Longstreet. The Trojans’ class now features 20 commits and ranks No. 17 in the On3 Industry Team Recruiting Rankings.
Texas A&M trending for Myles
In the 2026 cycle, Texas A&M owns a commitment from Myles’ high school teammate, four-star quarterback Helaman Casuga. The pair could eventually reunite as the Aggies are now trending to add Myles to a recruiting class that’s pushing for top-10 status.

Alabama WR to transfer
“Texas A&M has the momentum in my opinion with former USC receiver commit and On3’s No. 24 prospect overall Jerome Myles,” Wiltfong said on Sunday. “He was on the Aggies campus this past weekend. A source leading into the visit said keep an eye on Texas A&M. Another source after the trip said the same.”
The Aggies used to have a commitment from Longstreet — who flipped to USC last month. Six top-150 overall prospects still headline the pledge list for Mike Elko and Co.
Jerome Myles Scouting Summary
On3 writes this of Myles as a prospect:
“The most athletically-gifted wide receiver in the 2025 cycle. An athletic marvel of a prospect with a unique combination of elite size, athleticism and skill but has missed large chunks of his prep career with injuries. Measured in at 6-foot-3, 215 pounds prior to his senior season. One of the fastest prospects in the 2025 cycle. Posted absolutely scintillating marks in the 100 meters (10.36) and 200 meters (20.84) as a junior en route to state titles in both events. Broke a long-standing state record in the 100 meters. Carries that athleticism over to the field. Looked like a five-star talent at the beginning of his senior season, lighting up powerhouse IMG Academy for multiple touchdowns.
…Capable of winning in every area of the field. Has the speed to blow by defenders as a deep threat. Torched one-on-one coverage as an outside target. Draws safety attention with his mere presence. Has a solid release package and easily stacks corners off the line of scrimmage. Shows very good ball tracking ability. Strong hands at the catch point. Has the ability to win in jump ball situations. Flashed outstanding physicality and ability to pick up yardage after the catch as a senior.”
