Five-star OT Andrew Babalola dishes on Stanford official
Overland Park (Kan.) Blue Valley Northwest On3 Industry five-star offensive tackle Andrew Babalola took his official visit to Stanford over the weekend.
It was a return trip after a great experience with head coach Troy Taylor and his staff back in the spring.
“I had a great time at Stanford this weekend,” Babalola said. “The big takeaways for me were seeing Coach Taylor’s vision for the program and the excitement (and) passion around Stanford football again.
“That was great.”
Stanford is battling powerhouse programs from coast to coast for Babalola’s signature. The blue-chipper is also high on his opportunities from Auburn, Michigan, Missouri and Oklahoma among others.

“What makes it a good fit I’d say is how well I meshed with the other players and how I fit into Coach Taylor’s offense,” Babalola said. “A lot of the guys on the team, especially the offensive linemen share a lot of the goals and values I do, and that made it easy to connect.’
Stanford has 15 commitments to date and there is no prospect on the board more coveted moving forward than Babalola.
“Coach Taylor and the staff are trying hard to get the program back going and they think I can be a huge part to help that.”
The On3 Industry tabs Babalola as the No. 1 recruit in Kansas, No. 4 offensive tackle in the country and No. 20 prospect overall. He’s already taken officials to Auburn and Missouri and has Michigan this coming weekend and Oklahoma on June 21.
