ACC Football: Date, time, location announced for conference championship game
The ACC conference announced today that the ACC Football Championship Game will be held at Bank of America stadium in Charlotte, North Carolina on December 8 and will air primetime at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.
Bank of America stadium, home of the Carolina Panthers, has been home the the ACC championship since 2017 and this is the 13th time in the last 14 years that the game is being held in primetime. Last year’s matchup was between the #15 ranked Pitt Panthers and #16 Wake Forrest, where ACC player of the year Kenny Pickett lead Pitt to victory in an electric 41-21 win, drew in 2.6 million viewers and had over 50,000 fans in attendance.
This year, Clemson has been voted the odds on favorite to win the ACC title at -125 odds, followed by Miami and Pittsburg both sitting at +600.
