The full ACC football schedule for 2024 will come out later this week, but the league offered a sneak peak on Monday afternoon. The ACC has released the schedule for Week 1 of the 2024 college football season.

Some games, such as Clemson vs. Georgia, had previously been announced.

However, it was revealed that Boston College and Florida State will play on Labor Day — Monday night, Sept. 2. That means that Florida State will open the season with two ACC games. The Seminoles are set to play Georgia Tech in Dublin, Ireland on Aug. 24 to open the season.

Here are all 16 games involving ACC teams that are scheduled for Week 1:

Thursday, Aug. 29
North Carolina at Minnesota
Western Carolina at NC State
North Carolina A&T at Wake Forest

Friday, Aug. 30
Elon at Duke
TCU at Stanford

Saturday, Aug. 31
UC Davis at Cal
Georgia vs. Clemson (in Atlanta)
Georgia State at Georgia Tech
Austin Peay at Louisville
Miami at Florida
Kent State at Pitt
Houston Christian at SMU
Ohio at Syracuse
Richmond at Virginia
Virginia Tech at Vanderbilt

Monday, Sept. 2
Boston College at Florida State

The headliner game for the ACC in Week 1 is Clemson taking on Georgia, but there are plenty of other intriguing matchups.

Miami will open its 2024 season with a rivalry game against Florida, while North Carolina is also opening with a Power 4 team. The Tar Heels will begin their first season without Drake Maye at Minnesota.

On Friday, Aug. 30, Stanford will play its first game as a member of the ACC against a Power 4 team in TCU.

Georgia State at Georgia Tech is also an intriguing game. The Panthers are coming off of a 7-6 season in 2023, which included a victory over Utah State in the Famous Idaho Potato Bowl. Georgia Tech had a solid season in 2023, but that will be a tough turnaround after opening the season against Florida State overseas.

Cal and SMU will also be playing their first games as ACC members in Week 1. Cal is hosting UC Davis and SMU is hosting Houston Christian, with both games scheduled for Saturday, Aug. 31.

Finally, Virginia Tech will travel to Nashville to face Vanderbilt in a battle of Power 4 programs. Expectations are high for the Hokies entering the 2024 season. Virginia Tech finished the 2023 season with a 7-6 record, beating Virginia to finish out the regular season and Tulane in the Military Bowl.
