ACC announces Thursday, Friday night games for 2024 college football season
The ACC continued to reveal a portion of its schedule for the 2024 season on Tuesday as the league announced Thursday and Friday matchups for this coming year.
The following non-Saturday games were announced on Tuesday, a day before the ACC reveals its full schedule for the 2024 season:

NC State at Georgia Tech
Every team in the ACC is slated to play at least one game on a Thursday or Friday, other than Clemson and Virginia. Every Tigers and Cavaliers game during the 2024 season will be played on Saturday.

The ACC’s reveal of Thursday and Friday games came a day after the league announced its schedule for Week 1 of the 2024 college football season.

Some games, such as Clemson vs. Georgia, had previously been announced.
However, it was revealed that Boston College and Florida State will play on Labor Day — Monday night, Sept. 2. That means that Florida State will open the season with two ACC games. The Seminoles are set to play Georgia Tech in Dublin, Ireland on Aug. 24 to open the season.

The headliner game for the ACC in Week 1 is Clemson taking on Georgia, but there are plenty of other intriguing matchups.
Miami will open its 2024 season with a rivalry game against Florida, while North Carolina is also opening with a Power 4 team. The Tar Heels will begin their first season without Drake Maye at Minnesota.
