125 lbs.
1. Jakob Camacho (NC State)
2. Cooper Flynn (Virginia Tech)
3. Spencer Moore (North Carolina)
4. Kyle Montaperto (Virginia)
5. Logan Agin (Duke)
6. Colton Camacho (Pitt)
Jakob Camacho is the big favorite here, but he’ll certainly be challenged by Flynn in a potential finals matchup. Camacho vs. Camacho would only happen in the finals since there is no re-seeding.
133 lbs.
1. Kai Orine (NC State)
2. Marlon Yarbrough (Virginia)
3. Sam Latona (Virginia Tech)
4. Vincent Santaniello (Pitt)
5. Jace Palmer (North Carolina)
6. Raymond Adams (Duke)
Orine gives NC State its second straight favorite in this tournament. He could see Latona, who’s had an up and down season. However, the former two-time All-American is dangerous.
141 lbs.
1. Cole Matthews (Pitt)
2. Ryan Jack (NC State)
3. Tom Crook (Virginia Tech)
4. Lachlan McNeil (North Carolina)
5. Jack Gioffre (Virginia)
6. Christian Colman (Duke)
Matthews and Jack might be one of the best finals we could see at this tournament. While the Pitt wrestler is the favorite, he could get quite the semifinal bout with McNeil.
149 lbs.
1. Caleb Henson (Virginia Tech)
2. Jackson Arrington (NC State)
3. Jayden Scott (North Carolina)
4. Finn Solomon (Pitt)
5. Michael Gioffre (Virginia)
6. Jarred Papcsy (Duke)
Henson’s been on a tear this year. Frankly, it’d be hard to see anyone but the Virginia Tech wrestler winning this weight. Henson could very well get a really high seed at NCAAs.
157 lbs.
1. Sonny Santiago (North Carolina)
2. Ed Scott (NC State)
3. Bryce Andonian (Virginia Tech)
4. Jared Keslar (Pitt)
5. Dylan Cedeno (Virginia)
6. Logan Ferrero (Duke)
Santiago earned the No. 1 seed but this is an open weight class this season. Scott was presumed to be the favorite in the preseason and let’s not forget the high flying Andonian. It’s anyone’s weight.
165 lbs.
1. Derek Fields (NC State)
2. Holden Heller (Pitt)
3. Connor Brady (Virginia Tech)
4. Nick Hamilton (Virginia)
5. Isaias Estrada (North Carolina)
6. NONE

A smaller bracket with only five wrestlers and no Duke representative on the current bracket. Brady also gets a bye like the top two, but this bracket could be chalk.
174 lbs.
1. Mekhi Lewis (Virginia Tech)
2. Justin McCoy (Virginia)
3. Tyler Eischens (North Carolina)
4. Alex Faison (NC State)
5. Luca Augustine (Pitt)
6. Gaetano Console (Duke)
Lewis is a former national champion (2019 at 165 pounds). This is his weight to lose and is likely the top challenger to three-time NCAA champ Carter Starocci (Penn State) at NCAAs.
184 lbs.
1. TJ Stewart (Virginia Tech)
2. Reece Heller (Pitt)
3. Dylan Fishback (NC State)
4. Gavin Kane (North Carolina)
5. Ethan Weatherspoon (Virginia)
6. Conor Becker (Duke)
This is another wide open weight. In fact, it wouldn’t be surprising to see any of the top four win this weight. Expect some bracket busters here.
197 lbs.
1. Trent Hidlay (NC State)
2. Andy Smith (Virginia Tech)
3. Max Shaw (North Carolina)
4. Mac Stout (Pitt)
5. Krystian Kinsey (Virginia)
6. Kwasi Bonsu (Duke)
Hidlay is the overwhelming favorite here and is seen as the top challenger to three-time NCAA champ Aaron Brooks (Penn State) in two weeks. In fact, some believe Hidlay’s wrestling at his peak and this could be the year he does so.
285 lbs.
1. Owen Trephan (NC State)
2. Hunter Catka (Virginia Tech)
3. Ryan Catka (Virginia)
4. Dayton Pitzer (Pitt)
5. Connor Barket (Duke)
6. Cade Lautt (North Carolina)
The Catka’s could see each other again in the semifinals. Brother vs. brother is always fascinating. If it’s chalk, either one should have a good shot against the favorite in Trephan.
