The NCAA announced its 2023 All-Tournament Team after the national championship game Monday night, which UConn won 76-59 over San Diego State.

Huskies forward Adama Sanogo headlines the All-Tournament team after a standout two games in Houston that earned him Most Outstanding Player of the Final Four. He was the star of the Final Four game against Miami, finishing with a double-double of 21 points on 9-for-11 shooting from the field and 10 rebounds. His 21 points were a game high.

He followed that up with another double-double in the national championship game of 17 points and 10 rebounds.

UConn guards Jordan Hawkins and Tristen Newton also made the NCAA All-Tournament Team after great all-around performances over this past weekend. Hawkins had 13 points in the Final Four game and 16 points in the national championship. Newton has been a stat stuffer over the two games with seven points, eight assists and five rebounds on Saturday and then a game-high 19 points and 10 rebounds on Monday.

San Diego State guard Lamont Butler earned a spot after hitting the shot of the tournament in the Final Four against FAU. Butler hit the game-winning jumper with under a second remaining against FAU to send the Aztecs to Monday night. He scored 13 points in the national title game.

Owls guard Alijah Martin also earned a spot on the team after scoring 26 points, the most of any player in one game over the weekend in Houston in his team’s loss to San Diego State.
