Adem Bona, 2022 big man, cuts list to 2

Adem Bona, a 6-foot-9 center out of Lagos (Nigeria) Prolific Prep is down to two schools – Kentucky and UCLA, a source told On3.

Bona, the No. 3 ranked center in the On3 100, visited each of his finalists officially in the month of October. A decision could be made as soon as this week.

Bona will no longer consider the NBL, Miami, Arizona State, Baylor, Kansas, or USC.

Sources told On3 that Bona also turned down a one-year and two-year deal to play in the Overtime Elite league. Overtime has not confirmed this report.

On3’s Senior National Recruiting Analyst Gerry Hamilton had this to say about Adem Bona:

“Absolutely the best in the 2022 class of bigs running the floor. Will win foot races up and down the floor. A high-level rebounder that shows the reactive quickness and hands to rebound outside his area. Plays well above the rim on both ends. High-level rim protector. Will attack off the bounce offensively. Needs to develop a go-to move and more consistency in the mid-range. Future NBA player.”
