2024 4-star WR Aeryn Hampton announces top 10 schools
Daingerfield (Texas) four-star wide receiver Aeryn Hampton announced his top 10 schools on Saturday. They are LSU, Alabama, Oregon, Nebraska, Michigan, Ole Miss, Colorado, Texas, TCU and Michigan State.
Hampton is the No. 59 overall prospect and No. 11 wide receiver in the 2024 cycle, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also the No. 7 player in Texas.
The 5-foot-10, 175-pound wideout was previously committed to Texas and Baylor. He backed off his pledge to the Longhorns on Nov. 29.
Of Hampton’s finalists, Texas, LSU Alabama and Oregon have received visits. The four-star has seen the Longhorns five times, the most of any school.

In a message to On3’s Hayes Fawcett announcing his decommitment from Texas, Hampton indicated that he will still “heavily consider” the Longhorns. The Lone Star State also shared that he would like to take “all” of his official and unofficial visits.
Hampton has an On3 NIL Valuation of $90K. The On3 NIL Valuation is an index that looks to set the standard market value for both high school and college-level athletes. The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.
