After visiting Utah over the weekend, RB LaMarcus "Bam" Bell commits to the Utes

Lake Oswego (Ore.) running back LaMarcus Bell has found his home. He thought it was Oregon State earlier this year when he committed to the Beavers, but after opening his recruitment back up, Utah grabbed his attention and he has committed to the Utes.
“I announced my commitment to Oregon State on Jan. 27 and the next day is when Utah offered me,” Bell told On3. “The relationship I had with the running back coach (Atuaia) at his previous school of Washington State, carried over when he went to Utah. I was the first Running Back he offered when he got there, and to me, that shows how much he believes in me.”
That relationship got Utah in the mix for Bell right away. The connection grew, his interest did the same and after the official visit over the weekend, he made his decision.

“My official visit was amazing. My family loved it and they had a great time. I did as well. The hospitality the whole staff showed made me feel like I was at home.
“The family feeling they have there was a big part of my commitment. The bond between the coaches and players are so genuine… It just feels like one big family. My relationship with coach Atuaia was a big factor too. He has a plan for me and I definitely want to compete with him.”
This is it for Bell. The No. 4 prospect in Oregon is done with his recruitment.
“I’m 100% shut down and locked in with them Utes,’ Bell said.
