In-state CB Aidan Anding commits to LSU
Ruston (La.) High cornerback Aidan Anding announced his commitment to LSU on Saturday.
The 5-foot-11, 160-pound Anding chose the Tigers over his other finalists in Texas and Arkansas. Corey Raymond was his lead recruiter.
“One it’s in-state,” Anding told On3. “Not far from home.
“Looking at the history behind Coach Raymond and the guys he put in the league, I know he can develop me and put me in the league. I know my skill set and know my talents and what I can bring to the table.”
Anding becomes commit No. 25 for the Tigers in the 2025 recruiting class, adding to a haul On3 ranks No. 3 nationally.
“It’s special because I’m a Louisiana boy,” Anding said. “I’ll be more known in Louisiana. Me going to LSU, the best program, the best football program in Louisiana, me going in there playing for them will be easier to build my brand. Build a name for myself. And the support I’d have in football, I’m a Louisiana guy.”
