The top-ranked Tide will roll into Music City this weekend with No. 1 Alabama playing at Vanderbilt on Saturday afternoon. Kendrick Law was notably ruled out for the Crimson Tide after previously being listed as questionable.

With both ‘Bama and Vandy playing their second conference games of the season, this will be the second injury report to go official for each program on a Friday after the first two updates to it on Wednesday and Thursday this week.

The Crimson Tide have had no changes to their designations so far going into this game in Nashville. Kendrick Law and Justin Jefferson were the only two listed from the roster with neither status changing, from questionable and probable respectively, for either player.

The Commodores also have had the same eight players listed over the course of this week. They did have three listed out in Zaylin Wood, Mark Davis, and Grayson Morgan. The other five are then probable now with the change on Joseph McVay as he was previously questionable.

Friday Injury Report for Alabama vs. Vanderbilt

Alabama

Vanderbilt

Kalen DeBoer has begun his tenure in Tuscaloosa about as well as he could have in replacing Nick Saban. After three wins, including a 32-point victory at Camp Randall, ‘Bama opened conference play with a victory in the game of the year so far over Georgia. That got them to 4-0 and earned them the No. 1 spot in the AP Poll for the first time in almost two years. They now come into this one as three-plus score favorites.

Vanderbilt has had a decent start to their season in their own right at 2-2 overall. Despite losing to Georgia State, the Commodores, as sizable underdogs in both, have a win over Virginia Tech in the opener and a three-point loss in double overtime at Missouri where they pushed a Top-10 team in the Tigers. They’ll now try to compete and surprise again against their toughest opponent yet this weekend.
