Alabama coaches visit 2026 4-star DB Caden Harris
College football coaches have been making trips all around the country this week to visit some of the nation’s best up-and-coming prospects in the class of 2026.
On Thursday, Alabama head coach Kalen DeBoer and assistant Freddie Roach stopped by Brownsville (Tenn.) Haywood to see four-star cornerback Caden Harris.
Harris is the nation’s No. 176 overall prospect in the 2026 cycle according to the On3 Industry Ranking — a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is the No. 16 CB in the class and the No. 5 recruit from the state of Tennessee.
On3 is especially high on Harris. He ranks No. 118 in the 2026 class and No. 12 among corners.
Harris visited Tuscaloosa back in late September for the Tide’s upset win over Georgia.
“One of the most exciting times I’ve ever had!” Harris told On3. “I’m excited about getting prepared for the pros and having a shot at coming in and playing as a freshman.”

Alabama’s 2026 class is just getting started — its lone commitment coming from the same position group as Harris.
Gadsden City (Ala.) four-star CB Zyan Gibson is a top-70 prospect in the 2026 cycle and pledged to the Crimson Tide on Christmas Eve. Gibson’s father, Michael, played at Ole Miss and told On3 that he likes what he has seen from DeBoer’s staff.
“I really enjoy the process with Alabama,” Gibson’s father said. “Meeting the new staff and stuff like that they’re really transparent with us and built a great relationship. Especially myself and the GM Courtney Morgan. He’s been really hands on with this process with Zyan and myself and Zyan’s mom. We’re just really enjoying being around them and they welcome us with open arms every time we’re on a visit.”
