Agiye Hall status revealed ahead of LSU game Saturday
Agiye Hall may take the field for the Alabama Crimson Tide when the initial whistle blows vs. the LSU Tigers on Saturday night.
“Agiye Hall, who was not in uniform for Alabama’s last game against Tennessee, is warming up on the field today with other receivers in his warm-up T-shirt,” Mike Rodak tweeted
Nick Saban has been vague about the status of the young wideout, who hasn’t been with the team since the Mississippi State game.
“What we do with our players on our team is really kind of our business,” Saban said of Hall. “We’re encouraging guys to do the right thing, whether it’s personally, academically, and we have protocols that when guys miss so many things, they don’t get to play in the game. That’s always been the rule around here. So I’m not gonna disclose and I don’t think it’s anybody’s business when we’re trying to get players to do the right thing and we use playing time and opportunities in football to try to get them to do the right thing personally and academically.”
On the year, Hall has appeared in three games for the Crimson Tide and has caught one pass for 10 yards which came in the team’s season opener against Miami.
“It is what it is,” Saban said on Monday when asked about Agiye Hall. “But look, it still comes down to the players creating value for themselves by what they do. I’ve said this before, that there’s players that have talent but they have to learn how to use it and they have to use it in an effective way in the way they practice.
“It’s up to the player to impress the coaches that they can be trusted to go in the game and do what they’re supposed to do.”

Agiye Hall sends cryptic tweet
Alabama fans have been following the rise of the four-star wide-receiver. The 6-foot-3, long, big-bodied pass catcher came out of high school as the No. 5 prospect at his position in the nation.
The freshman had offers from just about every major college football program in the country.
Multiple media outlets reported Agiye Hall tweeted: “Yea nah, calling it quits,” after the Crimson Tide’s dominant 49-9 win over Mississippi State earlier this season.
The meaning was unclear, but led to speculation whether the four-star freshman from Valrico, Florida, is discontented with his role in the Alabama offense.
Alabama fans will hope Hall puts the drama behind him and emerges as the next great Crimson Tide receiver.
