ESPN’s College GameDay can take some wild turns, as the hosts of the show love to have a good time and the fans provide a never-ending source of engagement. Just ask Nick Saban, the newest member of the crew.

On Saturday while in Dublin, Ireland, Saban found himself the target of one sign crafted by an audacious young lady.

The sign read: “I’m looking for a man in football, trust fund, 5’6″, brown eyes.”

As ESPN’s cameras panned over, they then flipped to a shot of Nick Saban’s wife, Miss Terry, standing nearby. She shook her head and then wagged her finger no as the set had a good laugh and Pat McAfee rushed to her defense.

“Sorry lady, he’s taken! By Miss Terry, right there, what a wonderful lady!” McAfee said. “Coach Saban is also 6’2″, it’s all lies. All lies. All lies.”

You can check out the interaction below.

It wasn’t done quite there, as we got some hilarious insight into Nick Saban’s love life. Apparently he’s slacking in one particular area that was highlighted by ESPN College GameDay’s trip to Ireland.

“She got on me because she said I never ask her to dance after you asked her to dance, so you got me in trouble,” Saban told McAfee.

The GameDay host, the most lively of the crew, simply had a good laugh and stood up to mimic how he danced with Miss Terry.

“Me and Miss Terry were doing a little Irish jig,” McAfee said.

It was a fun first weekend for the ESPN College GameDay crew, who put on an excellent show abroad. There will obviously be some ironing out of the wrinkles ahead of the regular season, with things set to kick off on Saturday in College Station, Texas, for Notre Dame vs. Texas A&M.

That game is slated to kick off at 7:30 p.m. ET on ABC on Saturday.
