The 6-foot-5 210 pounder chose the Crimson Tide over Texas, Miami, Florida State, Florida, and Clemson.

Alabama Checked Every Box for the 2022 Tight End

“I chose Alabama because it is the best choice for me to get where I want to in life and football,” Skinner said. “The relationships that I built with the coaching staff, specifically Coach (Charles) Kelly and Coach (Drew) Svoboda, played a role in making the decision to commit to Alabama.”

On3 Director of Scouting and Rankings Charles Power says Jaleel Skinner’s physical upside stands out

“The first thing that jumps out about Jaleel Skinner is his measurables and high physical upside,” Power said. “He has a great combination of length and twitchy athleticism.”

“Skinner runs in the 4.5s with close to a 7-foot wingspan. He’s also got some strength with a 315 pound power clean. We’ve seen him show some flashes on the field, but Skinner will need to continue refining the technical aspects of his game. With that said, the physical upside is high.
