An Alabama analyst has landed a new job.

Marshall is set to hire Johnathan Galante as special teams coordinator, a source confirmed to On3. The news was first reported by The Athletic.

Galante, who has been with the Crimson Tide the last three seasons, worked with Marshall coach Charles Huff when Huff was Alabama’s running backs coach in 2019 and 2020. Before Alabama, Galante spent two seasons as a special teams staffer at Virginia.

Galante is the replacement for Jeremy Springer, who recently accepted the special teams coordinator job at Ole Miss.
