How to watch Alabama vs. Georgia
Time: 4 p.m. ET
Channel: CBS, FuboTV
Location: Atlanta, Ga.
With the early point spread set, both teams will arrive in Atlanta with some serious momentum. Georgia has won 45 of its last 46 games, with the lone loss in that span coming against Alabama in the 2021 SEC Championship Game.
Alabama, meanwhile, has won 10 straight since losing an early season contest against Texas.
But the two teams have taken very different routes to get to Atlanta.
Georgia has hardly broken a sweat, while Alabama had to majorly shake things up following that loss to Texas. However, the Crimson Tide have done so incredibly successfully.
After benching quarterback Jalen Milroe following the Texas game, Alabama tried some other options before returning to him. Milroe has been a different player since regaining his starting job.

He has emerged as a legitimate rushing threat, and Alabama has leaned more on his running ability as the season has gone on. That’s something Georgia will have to be acutely aware of in the SEC title game and is likely a reason the early point spread is as close as it is.
The Bulldogs, on the other hand, have been the picture of stability even while having to replace the starting quarterback that guided the team to two straight national championships. But Carson Beck has succeeded in doing just that, making the transition from Stetson Bennett IV an easy one.
He’s had to do it while the team has battled injuries to some vital skill position players.
Running back Kenny McIntosh, wide receiver Ladd McConkey and tight end Brock Bowers all missed time with various knocks throughout the season. All are getting healthy at the right time, though.
Since recovering from a high-ankle sprain, Bowers has picked up right where he left off. Alabama will have to worry about him as a major matchup problem.
