Alabama and Kentucky both got big wins in Week 10 as the calendar has now officially flipped to November. The two teams will now square off in Week 11 at Kroger Field, and the oddsmakers in Las Vegas have weighed in.

Alabama is a 10-point favorite over Kentucky in the Nov. 11 matchup, according to FanDuel. The over-under is set at 47.5.

Alabama and LSU looked like they were going to duke it out in a bona fide shootout after the first half in Tuscaloosa. The teams headed to the halftime locker rooms tied at 21-21 before the Tigers took a 28-21 lead on their first drive out of the break.

But the Alabama defense clamped down and the offense got rolling. Jalen Milroe ran for four touchdowns and had 374 total yards to lead the Crimson Tide to the 42-28 victory. It was the type of performance Nick Saban was looking for as a “birthday gift,” and he praised his team’s effort — particularly in the second half to contain the high-powered LSU offense.

“The players did a great job in the second half,” Saban said. “Offense did a great job of controlling the ball. Kept the ball away from them. Got a couple big stops on defense when we needed it to go up two scores. That kind of changed the game for us.

“Man, I’m proud of the way our guys competed in the game because it was a tough gut check when they scored right before the half, but they bounced back great in the second half.”

Kentucky vs. Mississippi State, however, wasn’t quite as exciting. The Wildcats totaled 21 points in the first half — including a pick-six — as they came away with the 24-3 win over the Bulldogs in Starkville. Devin Leary threw for two touchdowns as he completed 13 of 22 passes for 156 yards in the effort.

However, Leary left the game in the second half and didn’t return. After the game, Stoops said he couldn’t see clearly out of his eye, and the staff decided to keep him out and put Kaiya Sheron in.

“He had something late,” Stoops said, via KSR’s Drew Franklin. “Part of the problem that was taking long, he had something in his eye. He couldn’t see clearly. So, when he was reading the plays, it was getting to be a problem. Hopefully, he’ll be OK.”

Kickoff between Alabama and Kentucky is set for Nov. 11 at noon ET.
