They were able to wash the taste out of their mouths after an incredible 101-44 win over Vanderbilt earlier in the week, and Alabama is riding high heading into Saturday’s matchup against LSU. A win would give Alabama its 10th SEC win of the season.
The Tigers have not been so fortunate in SEC play. Having one-loss entering their conference slate, LSU is tied for last place with only one win to its credit over a conference foe. They’ve lost nine-straight games and hasn’t earned a victory since Dec. 28 of last year.
The Crimson Tide will undoubteldy take advantage of a dejected LSU team, and Saturday could be a very long afternoon for the ailing LSU basketball program.
