On paper, Alabama is a clear favorite in this game against Vanderbilt. The Crimson Tide are one of the best teams in the country, coming into this game at 15-2 overall, they expect to be able to roll in and take care of business against a 9-8 Commodores team.

The Crimson Tide have tons of players who are able to score and are coming off a 106-66 win over a talented LSU team. The Commodores can score too, but it’s going to be difficult for them to keep up.

At the same time, Alabama will likely be distracted coming into this game. Darius Miles, a member of the Crimson Tide team, was arrested over the weekend on a capital murder charge. Meanwhile, head coach Nate Oats has tried to support his players in what is a difficult time. Miles, for his part, insists that he is innocent.
