Alabama WR Ryan Williams debuts new profile pic, trolling Georgia after game-winning catch
After beating the Georgia Bulldogs on the field, star Alabama Crimson Tide wide receiver Ryan Williams updated his profile pic on Instagram, apparently trolling Georgia after he caught the game-winning touchdown.
That new profile picture wasn’t of Williams himself but of Michael Vick holding a dog. Vick, of course, was convicted of dog fighting while still playing in the NFL.

For his part, Ryan Williams was phenomenal in the win over Georgia. He finished the game with six receptions for 177 yards and a touchdown. Those numbers were the best of any receiver for either team on the day. That touchdown ended up being the game-winning score and came in the closing minutes of the fourth quarter on a bomb from quarterback Jalen Milroe.
Ryan Williams has garnered a ton of attention early in the season. Part of that is for his obvious talent. Another part of that is for his age. At just 17 years old, he’s dominating on the field at an age when most people are still in high school.
A five-star recruit in the Class of 2024, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, Ryan Williams has more than lived up to expectations. He’s exceeded them. With that, he’s also seen his On3 NIL Valuation explode and now sits at $732,000.

At the time that Williams caught his game-winning touchdown, Alabama had lost all momentum. After leading 28-0 at one point in the first half, the Crimson Tide had seen the Bulldogs come all the way back to take a lead of their own late in the fourth quarter. It’s a play that was only able to happen thanks to the trust between him and Milroe.
“It was all about matchups. Find your one-on-one. Find your matchups. And go play as something we call pass to pass in practice. Repetition. Repetition. That’s so important. It’s all about trust. And I trusted Ryan Williams and I gave him the play,” Milroe said.
“The biggest thing that we have on our team is grit, determination, and commitment from everyone on our team. Offense, defense, on all cylinders. We’ve got trust in one another. And it’s so important when we play great teams like Georgia. We knew it was going to be a four quarter ballgame. It’s all about trusting in our level of training and rising to the occasion. It’s all very important.”
From here, Alabama and Ryan Williams will look to keep their success going against Vanderbilt next week.
