All Eye Test Team from the All-American Bowl
This week saw dozens of the nation’s top prospects head to San Antonio take take part in practices for the All-American Bowl, which will take place at 1:00 P.M. Eastern on Saturday. The game will be televised on NBC.
The week of practice presented the opportunity to see the dozens and dozens of blue-chip prospects side by side. We’ve already extensively covered how the prospects played on the field. We were also able to eyeball the prospects and get a gauge for how they stack up physically.
With that in mind here’s our All Eye Test Team for the week. This is not simply who looks biggest getting off the bus – but more so which prospects have the most advanced or projectable dimensions and builds relative to success at their respective positions.
All-American Bowl Roster Breakdown | Day 1 Top Performers |Day 2 Top Performers | Day 3 Top Performers |Ranking the Quarterbacks
QB Devin Brown – Ohio State
Devin Brown checked in between 6-foot-2 and 6-foot-3 and around 195 pounds. The Ohio State signee already has good size but also possesses the frame for continued growth once he gets in Mickey Marotti’s strength program. He also has a 10 inch hand – one of the bigger mitts among top quarterbacks in the 2022 cycle. Brow shouldn’t have any issues gripping or throwing the ball in cold weather environments. We’ve already seen him play well in Salt Lake City as a senior.
Penn State signee Drew Allar also has prototypical stature for the position at 6-foot-4.5 and 230 pounds.
RB TreVonte’ Citizen – Unsigned
There are several impressive running backs at the All-American Bowl, but TreVonte’ Citizen gets the nod here. Citizen has an ideal running back build at 5-foot-11.5 and 215-220 pounds. The Louisiana native has a developed lower body which is ideal for balance and breaking tackles. LSU, Auburn and Florida are among those in the mix for the one-time Bayou Bengal commit.
Five-star Penn State signee Nick Singleton and North Carolina signee Omarion Hampton are two more with ideal body types at running back.
WR Samuel Mbake – Arkansas
Samuel Mbake was the clear choice as the most physically impressive wide receiver at the All-American Bowl. The metro Atlanta product has was tipping the scales at around 215 pounds last off-season. He’s leaned out considerably and looks to be around 6-foot-3, 195 pounds. Mbake also touts very good length at the position, which aids in his catch radius and ability to initiate contact with defensive backs.
Notre Dame signee Tobias Merriweather is a bit lean, but is close to a legitimate 6-foot-4, giving him the best stature of the receivers on hand.
OT Elijah Pritchett – Alabama
There are several big offensive linemen at the All-American Bowl with a few who will need to trim down once they get to college. Some others will need to add significant mass to developmental frames. Elijah Pritchett falls into the happy medium. The Alabama signee is around 6-foot-6, 305 pounds with some of the longest arms on hand. While some other offensive linemen are top-heavy, Pritchett carries much of his weight in his lower body, which aids in a strong base and anchor.

EDGE Enai White – Texas A&M
We only got to see Enai White on Tuesday before he was ruled out for the remainder of the week. But it was long enough to see that the Philadelphia Imhotep Charter standout has an ideal EDGE frame. White has outstanding length and considerable room to add mass. He looks similar to fellow Texas A&M signee Malick Sylla and Ohio State signee Kenyatta Jackson Jr. who we saw at the Under Armour All-America Game last week.
Five-star Georgia signee Marvin Jones Jr., Penn State signee Dani Dennis-Sutton and Duke signee Vincent Anthony Jr. also impressed.
DL Quency Wiggins – LSU
By now it shouldn’t be shocking to learn that Quency Wiggins was perhaps the most physically impressive prospect on hand at the All-American Bowl. The LSU signee has turned heads dating back the college camp circuit over the summer. Wiggins began his high school career as a basketball-only athlete and it’s easy to see why. He’s 6-foot-4.5, 275 pounds with elite length. Wiggins has the frame to easily hold well over 300 pounds and maintain his athleticism.
DL Mykel Williams – Georgia
We’re making an exception to the one prospect per position rule, due to the glut of big-framed prospects along the defensive front. Mykel Williams was the top overall performer in practices throughout the week, showing off a complete skill set as an interior pass rusher. The 6-foot-5, 265-pounder also has a great frame. We think he could easily hold 290 to 300 pounds in due time. Williams also has plus length. He may still have some growth left as well, considering he has a later birthday.
LB Sebastian Cheeks – North Carolina
There are several well-built linebackers at the All-American Bowl, but Sebastian Cheeks gets the nod. At 6-foot-3, 215-pounds, Cheeks has ideal dimensions for a linebacker prospect entering college. The Evanston (Ill.) Township product also has plus length and hand size relative to the position.
DB Davison Igbinosun – Unsigned
The defensive back group at the All-American Bowl was especially ravaged by COVID protocols. With that said, Davison Igbinosun caught our eye on the first day prior to being ruled out for the rest of the week. The 6-foot-1, 185-pounder has good stature and length to go with the versatility to play multiple spots in the secondary. We saw Igbinosun line up at a few different spots in Tuesday’s practice. He had one of the better plays on the day, coming down with an interception on a tipped pass. Igbinosun is set to announce his decision on Saturday with Ole Miss currently trending in his RPM.
