Alphonzo Billups, 2022 4-star, commits to VCU

Alphonzo Billups, a 6-foot-7 shooting guard, has committed to VCU basketball for the class of 2022, he tells On3.
Billups is the Ram’s second commitment in the class, following Christian Fermin. The Rams have now landed two prospects within the top-150.
VCU head coach Mike Rhoades is celebrating today after landing Billups, possibly the best prospect in Richmond, VA. He chose the ‘hometown’ Rams over LSU, Texas A&M, Oklahoma State, NC State, Pittsburgh, among others.
Alphonzo Billups plays for Varina (Va.) High School and ran with Team Loaded VA on the Adidas 3SSB Circuit this summer.
