3-star S Amare Snowden announces commitment date, top five schools
Roseville (Mich.) three-star safety Amare Snowden announced his commitment date and top five schools on Sunday night. He will be signing on Dec. 21 and choosing between Cincinnati, Colorado, Howard, West Virginia and Wisconsin.
Snowden is the No. 447 overall prospect and No. 44 safety in the 2023 cycle, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also the No. 9 player in Michigan.
On3 rates Snowden higher than other recruiting services, per the Industry Comparison. Even though he is not ranked in the 2023 On300, Snowden is the No. 42 safety and No. 7 player in Michigan.
The 6-foot-3, 190-pound defensive back was previously committed to the Bearcats. However, he backed off his pledge when Luke Fickell departed Cincinnati to become the Badgers’ head coach.

This weekend, Snowden took an official visit to Wisconsin. It was his second straight official, as he was in West Virginia last week.
Snowden has an On3 NIL Valuation of $15.3K. The On3 NIL Valuation is an index that looks to set the standard market value for both high school and college-level athletes. The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.
