Andrew and Michael Harris, 4-star LBs, being pursued by multiple schools
Four-star linebackers Andrew Harris and Michael Harris, twin brothers at Altamonte Springs (Fla.) Lake Brantley, decommitted from UCF on Dec. 18. Multiple schools are interested in them, including Arkansas, Florida, Maryland and Nebraska.
A key reason why the Harris brothers chose the Knights was because of defensive coordinator Travis Williams. Now that Williams is with the Razorbacks, they are looking into head coach Sam Pittman‘s program.
“We really had a father figure bond with him,” Michael said at hotel check-in for the Under Armour All-America Game. “He was really one of the main reasons why we committed to UCF.”
Michael shared that he and his brother “might” be taking an official visit to Arkansas. As of now, no date has been set for a potential trip to Fayetteville.
Like Arkansas, Nebraska wants the brothers to take an official to the Cornhuskers. Another Big Ten program — the Terrapins — have the Harris’ attention as well.

“The coaching staff really, they’ve been on me, my mom and my brother every day, said Michael, the No. 355 overall prospect and No. 32 linebacker in the 2023 On3 Consensus. “… Just talking. It shows a lot of love outside of football.”
Florida has intrigued the brothers as well. They have yet to visit the Gators.
“What I like about Florida is it’s home,” Andrew told On3’s Jeremy Johnson. “Their coaching staff is really good. They have a great (and) talented team.”
At the moment, the brothers are eyeing February for their commitments. Regarding the Terrapins, Andrew shared that “I love Maryland.”
“I (want) to see in a school where they have great education and how they treat their players, how they turn their players into men,” said Andrew, the No. 300 overall prospect and No. 28 linebacker in the On3 Consensus. “I wanted to see what they do with their players outside of football.”
