4-star LB Andrew Harris recommits to UCF
Altamonte Springs (Fla.) Lake Brantley four-star linebacker Andrew Harris has recommitted to UCF. He originally decommitted from the Knights on Dec. 18.
Harris is the No. 274 overall prospect and No. 28 linebacker in the 2023 cycle, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also the No. 51 player in Florida.

The 6-foot-0.5, 195-pound defender has taken two visits to UCF. They were an official on the weekend of June 11 and an unofficial on Jan. 16, 2022.

Stands in at 6-foot-1, 200 pounds with an evenly distributed and athletic build. Covers every blade of grass on the field. Ran some freakish track times during his sophomore track and field season.
“Ran a blistering 10.72 100m, 21.50 200m and a 51.55 400m all as a sophomore. Possesses stopping power in the hole. Has all the athletic ability in the world combined with his size to have a shot at the NFL. Should see significant playing time early in career and expand to everyday starter by year two at the latest. Has played basketball and soccer along with football throughout his high school career.”
