Pike Road (Ala.) four-star running back Anthony Rogers will be announcing his commitment on June 2. He is choosing between Alabama, Auburn, Florida, Georgia and Oregon.

Rogers is the No. 96 overall prospect and No. 8 running back in the 2025 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also the No. 11 player in Alabama.

On3 rates Rogers higher than other recruiting services, according to the Industry Comparison. Per the 2025 On300, he is the No. 10 player in Alabama.

The 5-foot-8, 185-pound tailback has already visited multiple finalists this spring, including Alabama on March 4 and Florida on April 13. He also went to see Auburn on Jan. 28.

“The environment,” Rogers told Jake Reuse of DawgsHQ on March 11 about what matters to him in a school. “I want a nice environment to be in and be comfortable. I want to have a great relationship with the coaches and be able to talk to them. I want them to show me how I can fit into the program.”

“Winning does play a factor, but it’s a balance of the development and the fit, too,” he added. “It’s all three of those.”

Jones discusses his top five schools

Georgia is one of the many schools to offer Jones. He shared with Reuse that being recruited by the Bulldogs felt good.

“I’d already been up there for a camp the summer before, and they liked what I was doing and liked what they saw,” Jones said. “They saw I needed be polished up a few areas, and I showed that in my first varsity game.  That’s when the offer came.”

Meanwhile, Jones visited Florida last month for the Orange and Blue Game. He enjoyed his experience seeing the Gators in Gainesville.

“It was a smooth visit,” Rogers told Keith Niebuhr of Gators Online on April 19. “I liked the excitement and it was a nice spring game. They started turning it up some more in the second half. It was a nice, smooth place.”

Jones also discussed his finalists with On3’s Hayes Fawcett.

Alabama: “Everyone is about their business at Bama. I like the fact that you have to earn everything you get there.”

Auburn: “Auburn is a great environment with great fans. I have a pretty good relationship with coach Cadillac Williams.”

Florida: “I love their energy. I also like their run game and they have a nice coaching staff.”

Georgia: “Georgia has a great offense. Coach (Dell) McGee does great with the running backs and I could fit in their run game.”
