The newest college basketball rankings are here as the 2024-25 AP Poll Top 25 was updated after Week 11 of the season.
There were some upsets so naturally, there were shakeups in the rankings. The top 10 definitely got a facelift.
With that, let’s dive into the AP Poll Top 25 rankings following Week 11 of the season.
1. Auburn
Auburn eked out a win over Georgia on the road Saturday, 70-68. But still, a win is a win for Bruce Pearl and company.
The Tigers did it without Johni Broome as Tahaad Pettiford led the way for 24 points, three rebounds and two assists. Miles Kelly and Chad Baker-Mazara each put up 13 points.
2. Duke (+1)
Duke dominated Boston College on the road Saturday, 88-63, to improve to 16-2 on the season. Jon Scheyer’s crew is firing on all cylinders as of late.
The Blue Devils will be big favorites moving forward until a classic rivalry against North Carolina on the 1st and then a ranked matchup with Illinois on February 22nd. Duke is back in action next Saturday at Wake Forest.
3. Iowa State (-1)
Iowa State knocked off Kansas but fell to West Virginia this week. The Mountaineers stunned the visiting Cyclones 64-57 Saturday.
Curtis Jones led the way with 18 points and eight rebounds but it wasn’t enough. WVU outscored Iowa State 39-33 in the final 20 minutes of the game.
4. Alabama
How about the Crimson Tide? Even Nate Oats compared his team to Nick Saban-led Alabama football teams with how they respond.
Grant Nelson led Alabama with 25 points, 11 rebounds and two assists. Mark Sears added 24 points, one rebound and nine assists in the win. Alabama is now 15-3 on the season.
5. Florida
Florida took its second loss of the season, 83-82 to Missouri, on Tuesday but bounced back with a dominating 84-60 win over Texas Saturday. Safe to say, the Gators got the message following a 2-2 stretch.
Alijah Martin had 22 points, six rebounds and four assists in the win. Walter Clayton Jr. added 19 points, four rebounds and three assists while Alex Condon had 11 points and 12 rebounds.
6. Tennessee
Tennessee took a stunning loss to Vanderbilt on the road, 76-75. After trailing six at halftime, the Vols couldn’t pull it out in the end as Chaz Lanier missed a tying free throw and Tennessee couldn’t corral a rebound for a final shot.
Lanier was the leading scorer with 17 points and two rebounds. Igor Milicic, Felix Okpara and Zakai Zeigler all scored 16 points but Tennessee lost its second game of the season.
7. Houston (+3)
Houston narrowly avoided the upset Saturday with a 69-68 win over UCF on the road. That’s now 10 wins in a row for the Cougars as they are 14-3 this season.

Tre Holloman ended the game with 17 points, two rebounds and two assists. Coen Carr and Frankie Fidler each added 11 points apiece.
9. Kentucky (-1)
Kentucky ended the weekend with a tough home loss to Alabama, 102-97. So, it certainly wasn’t for a lack of scoring.
The Wildcats are still 14-4 on the season but have some ranked opponents coming up in the SEC. They’ll try to bounce back against Vanderbilt, which just upset Tennessee over the weekend.
10. Marquette (-3)
Marquette stayed in the top 10 despite a 59-57 loss to Xavier on Saturday. The Golden Eagles were given the benefit of the doubt amid the upset.
