AP Poll Top 25 College Basketball Rankings released after Week 14

The newest college basketball rankings are here as the 2024-25 AP Poll Top 25 was updated after Week 14 of the season.
There were some upsets near the top so we’re going to have a different looking set of rankings this week. Believe us, we were surprised too!
With that, let’s dive into the AP Poll Top 25 rankings following Week 14 of the season.
1. Auburn
Auburn fell to Florida at home after going in as a near 10-point favorite against the Gators. But, the Tigers lost 90-81 after trailing by 10 at halftime.
Miles Kelly led the team in scoring with 22 points, three rebounds and one assist. Johni Broome added 18 points, 11 rebounds and six assists, but it was not enough for the top ranked Tigers.
2. Alabama (+1)

Alabama edged out Arkansas on the road in a back and forth affair. The Crimson Tide won 85-81 despite being outscored in the second half.
Grant Nelson led the way with 15 points, four rebounds and three assists. Chris Youngblood added 15 points, three rebounds and one assist.
T3. Florida (+3)
Florida was cooking in their win over Auburn and the Gators went in as underdogs by nearly double digits. Still, throw it all out the window as they are now 20-3 on the season.
Walter Clayton Jr. put up 19 points, six rebounds and nine assists. Alex Condon added 17 points, 10 rebounds and four assists.
T3. Duke (-1)
Duke fell victim to an upset on the road to Clemson, which went into the game unranked. The Blue Devils lost 77-71 after leading 41-35 at halftime.
Tyrese Proctor led the way with 23 points, two rebounds and one assist. Cooper Flagg added 18 points, five rebounds and one assist.
5. Tennessee (-1)

Tennessee dominated Oklahoma Saturday, 70-52, on the road and built a 20-point lead at halftime. The Vols are now 20-4 on the season.
Chaz Lanier led the way with 21 points, five rebounds and two assists. Zakai Zeigler added 17 points, four rebounds and nine assists.
6. Houston (-1)
Houston had a hard fought win over Colorado on the road this weekend, beating the Buffs 69-59. With that win, the Cougars improved to 19-4 on the season.
J’wan Roberts led the way for Houston, putting up 20 points, four rebounds and three assists. LJ Cryer and Terrance Arceneaux each had 15 points in the contest.

7. Purdue
Win No. 20 was a big one for Purdue as the Boilermakers had no trouble with USC Friday night. A 90-72 win seemed too easy against the Trojans.
Trey Kaufman-Renn put up 24 points, 10 rebounds and one assist. Fletcher Loyer added 14 points, two rebounds and one assist. Let’s not forget Caleb Furst having nine points and 10 rebounds.
8. Texas A&M (+2)

A solid ranked win for Texas A&M on the road, beating SEC foe Missouri. In a thriller, Wade Taylor IV hit a go-ahead three-pointer with a little over two seconds remaining and the Aggies won 67-64.
Taylor finished the game with 15 points. But it was Pharrel Payne who led the team in scoring with 20 points and four rebounds.
9. St. John’s (+3)
Rick Pitino and St. John’s are now in the top 10 with their latest win, this one a 68-62 win over UConn on the road. The Red Storm are now 22-3 on the season.
RJ Luis Jr. put up 21 points, seven rebounds and one assist in the win. Kadary Richmond added 12 points, six rebounds and six assists in this one.
10. Iowa State (-2)
Iowa State absolutely bulldozed TCU Saturday with an 82-52 win. After building an 18-point lead at halftime, the Cyclones never looked back.
Curtis Jones led the way with 24 points, one rebound and one assist. Dishon Jackson and Milan Momcilovic each put up 14 points while Joshua Jefferson had a double-double with 13 points, 10 rebounds and two assists.
