The latest AP Poll top 25 rankings were released after Week 11 of the college football season and we saw some movement.

There were standout games, such as Michigan over Penn State and Georgia over Ole Miss. It’s getting tight at the top at this point.

Let’s dive into the latest AP Poll top 25 rankings after Week 11 of the season.

1. Georgia

(Joshua L. Jones / USA TODAY NETWORK)

Georgia took a little time, but eventually steam rolled Ole Miss en route to the Bulldogs’ 10th win of the season. That sets up a date with Alabama in a few weeks for the SEC Championship.

Carson Beck tossed two touchdowns and 306 yards while Kendall Milton ran for 127 and two scores. Daijun Edwards added 59 yards and two touchdowns.

2. Michigan

(Matthew O’Haren-USA TODAY Sports)

Michigan saw Jim Harbaugh banned from the sidelines and did not let it affect the team. Sherrone Moore piloted the squad as the acting head coach and the Wolverines remained undefeated.

Blake Corum had 26 carries for 145 yards and two touchdowns. JJ McCarthy barely threw the football, but was seven-of-eight passing for 60 yards. Now 10-0, Michigan kept it rolling.

3. Ohio State

(Brooke LaValley_Columbus Dispatch _ USA TODAY NETWORK)

Naturally, Ohio State wanted to keep pace with Michigan over the weekend. So, the Buckeyes dominated Michigan State 38-3 to remain undefeated. We’re just two weeks away from The Game.

Kyle McCord threw for 335 yards and three touchdowns in one of his best games of the season and he made it look easy. Marvin Harrison Jr. had seven catches for 149 yards and two touchdowns to keep his Heisman campaign alive as well. The final stretch will be fun.

4. Florida State

(Alicia Devine_Tallahassee Democrat _ USA TODAY NETWORK)

It was a little closer than anticipated, but Florida State edged out Miami 27-20 to remain undefeated. That’s right, don’t forget about the 10-0 Seminoles, they’re still a contender for the national title and it feels like they aren’t getting as much love.

Jordan Travis threw for 265 yards and tossed a touchdown. Meanwhile, Trey Benson had another good one: 80 yards and two touchdowns. Make sure you keep FSU in mind when it comes to the playoff.

5. Washington

(Steven Bisig-USA TODAY Sports)

Washington needed another close call right? The Huskies edged Utah at home to remain undefeated as well, putting them at 10-0 and in step with the others and in the front of the Pac-12.

We can’t wait for the impending rematch with Oregon for the Pac-12 title in a few weeks and the continuation of the Michael Penix Jr. Heisman campaign. The final weeks should be good and at their best, no one can out score the Huskies.

6. Oregon

(Ben Lonergan/The Register-Guard / USA TODAY NETWORK)

Speaking of Oregon, forget any talk of a USC comeback story, the Ducks are here to stay and they want a title. Also speaking of Heisman campaigns, hello Bo Nix, what a game.

Nix threw for 412 yards and four touchdowns and put last year’s winner, Caleb Williams, to shame, at least in this game. This is one of the most dangerous teams in America since that loss to Washington.

7. Texas

(Ricardo B. Brazziell_American-Statesman _ USA TODAY NETWORK)

Phew, close call right here. Texas just got by TCU 29-26 on the road to keep pace with other College Football Playoff teams and saw the return of Quinn Ewers under center.

He wasn’t great, but Ewers did throw for 317 yards, one touchdown and one interception. Jonathan Brooks added two touchdowns on the ground to go along with 104 yards.

8. Alabama

(Jordan Prather-USA TODAY Sports)

I don’t think any logical person would want their team to play Alabama right now. The Crimson Tide are rolling through their entire schedule and look like a title contender.

It might be time to start talking about Jalen Milroe as a Heisman contender or potential winner as well. This man scored six touchdowns, three through the air and three on the ground. One of Nick Saban’s best coaching jobs.

9. Louisville (+2)

(Jamie Rhodes-USA TODAY Sports)

Let’s not forget about Louisville, which won Thursday night over Virginia to get to 9-1 on the season. With two games left, the College Football Playoff conversation has to happen with the Cardinals.

What Jeff Brohm’s done with the program in his first year is nothing short of remarkable. The real test will be Florida State in an ACC Championship Game matchup.

10. Oregon State (+2)

(Soobum Im-USA TODAY Sports)

Wow, Oregon State took it to Stanford Saturday night and it wasn’t even close. The 62-17 win highlighted quite the year for the Beavers who aren’t to be trifled with.

Unfortunately, Oregon State has two losses, so you have to rule out the College Football Playoff. Still, gotta give credit to Jonathan Smith’s crew for making the top 10 rankings.
