AP Poll Top 25 revealed following Week 14 of college basketball season
The latest AP Poll Top 25 rankings were revealed after Week 14 of the college basketball season and there were some changes throughout.
The top 10 saw some modifications as well with some upsets and interesting wins by others.
Let’s dive into the latest AP Poll top 25 rankings for college basketball.
1. UConn
The Huskies kept it rolling with wins over Butler and Georgetown, in dominant fashion. UConn is now 22-2 on the season and looking like it could repeat this March.
Alex Karaban led the way with 25 points, four rebounds and one assist. Stephon Castle added 17 points and three rebounds.
2. Purdue
Wins over a ranked Wisconsin team and then domination over in-state foe Indiana led to a good week for the Badgers. Simply put, the Boilermakers kept it rolling.
In the win over Indiana, Zach Edey had 26 points, 13 rebounds and four assists. Braden Smith added 19 points, nine rebounds and four assists.
3. Houston (+2)
After dropping a game to Kansas, Houston bounced back with wins over Oklahoma and Cincinnati to get the bad taste out of their mouths. The Cougars are now 21-3 on the season.
In the win over the Bearcats, J’wan Roberts had 20 points and eight rebounds. Jamal Shead added 16 points, four rebounds and four assists.
4. Marquette (+3)
It was all smiles for Marquette over the weekend with a 86-75 win over St. John’s Saturday. With the win, the Golden Eagles are now 18-5 on the season and solidified as a top 10 team.
Tyler Kolek had 27 points, seven rebounds and 13 assists, getting a double-double. Stevie Mitchell added 14 points and one rebound.
5. Arizona (+3)
Arizona needed overtime to beat Utah but came back and beat Colorado by 20 on the road for a dominant win Saturday. The Wildcats are now 19-5 on the season.
In the win over the Buffaloes, Caleb Love had 19 points, three rebounds and three assists. Pelle Larsson added 18 points, four rebounds and two assists, finishing second in scoring.
6. Kansas (-2)
Kansas was stunned by in-state foe Kansas State on the road 75-70 but gutted out a 64-61 win over Baylor at home. Ranked wins cure all it seems.
Hunter Dickinson led the way with 15 points, seven rebounds and two assists. Dajuan Harris Jr. added 14 points, one rebound and five assists.
7. North Carolina (-4)
The Tar Heels had a rare loss to Clemson last Tuesday night on their home floor. However, UNC went on the road to beat Miami on Saturday.

In the win, RJ Davis had 25 points, seven rebounds and five assists. Elliot Cadeau added 19 points, three rebounds and eight assists to get win No. 19.
8. Tennessee (-2)
After demolishing LSU Wednesday by 20 at home last Wednesday, Tennessee was upset by Texas A&M over the weekend. In fact, the Volunteers lost by 16 on the road to the Aggies.
In the loss, Dalton Knecht had 22 points and seven rebounds. Zakai Zeigler added 15 points, six rebounds and six assists. No other player topped eight points in the game.
9. Duke
Following their loss to North Carolina last weekend, the Blue Devils bounced back with wins over Notre Dame and Boston College. Both were wins by double digits.
In the win over the Eagles, Mark Mitchell had 17 points, seven rebounds and two assists. Kyle Filipowski and Jeremy Roach each added 16 points while Jared McCain had a double-double with 11 points and 10 rebounds.
10. Iowa State (+4)
Following a loss to Baylor by two, the Cyclones had wins over Texas and TCU to bounce back. So, welcome to the top 10 Iowa State!
In the win over TCU, Tre King had 15 points and three rebounds. Keshon Gilbert and Curtis Jones each had 13 points in the win as well.
