Arizona forward Henri Veesaar has entered the NCAA transfer portal, according to a report from On3’s Pete Nakos. He did so after spending two seasons with the Wildcats.

Veesaar made a major jump in production in 2024-25, quickly becoming one of Arizona’s best players off the bench. He started five games in 37 appearances this season.

During that time, Henri Veesaar averaged 9.4 points and 5.0 rebounds per game. He also chipped in 1.3 assists and 1.1 blocks per contest, proving a versatile threat.

Veesaar did some of his best work late in the season. He was instrumental in the team’s effort against Duke in the Sweet 16, logging 28 minutes and chipping in 13 points, six rebounds and a block.

During the 2024-25 campaign, Veesaar scored in double-figures 16 times. His high-water mark was a 22-point, 8-rebound outing against Arizona State in early March. He produced those figures on just 22 minutes of game action.

Presumably, Henri Veesaar will be looking to find a new program where he can be a full-time starter. He’s certainly got the ability.

On top of his scoring and rebounding production, Veesaar showed some real ability as a shooter. He can stretch the floor, shooting 32.7% from 3-point range on a decent sample size: 16-of-49 from downtown.

Another Arizona big man enters the transfer portal

Along with Henri Veesaar, center Emmanuel Stephen entered the NCAA transfer portal, On3 has learned. He spent one season with the Wildcats.

Stephen played sparingly for Arizona this season, limited to just eight games. He averaged three minutes per game and now will look elsewhere.

As a member of the Class of 2024, Stephen was a four-star recruit out of Glendale (Ari.) Dream City Christian, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He was the No. 5 overall prospect in the state, the No. 13 center in the class and the No. 97 overall prospect in the class.

On3’s Nick Kosko also contributed to this report.
