2026 4-star TE Israel Briggs commits to Arizona State

Visalia (Calif.) Redwood four-star tight end Israel Briggs has committed to Arizona State.
He chose the Sun Devils while also holding offers from over 20 other programs, including the likes of Oregon, Miami, Auburn, Alabama, Texas A&M, Nebraska, UCLA and Michigan.
Briggs is the No. 152 overall prospect and No. 9 TE in the 2026 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He’s also the No. 19 player in California.

The 6-foot-6, 200-pounder joins a 2026 recruiting class that continues to push for top-25 status in the On3 Industry Team Recruiting Rankings. Briggs becomes the second blue-chip pledge for head coach Kenny Dillingham and ASU in the cycle, joining El Paso (Texas) Del Valle four-star quarterback Jake Fette.
Briggs, a Swiss-Army knife talent at the high school level, becomes just the third top-10 tight end in the On3 Industry Ranking to come off the board to date.
