2026 4-star QB Jake Fette commits to Arizona State

El Paso (Texas) Del Valle junior four-star quarterback Jake Fette has committed to Arizona State, he announced on Sunday.

The 6-foot-1, 190-pounder chose the Sun Devils while also holding offers from Baylor, TCU, Texas Tech and SMU, among others.

Fette is the No. 131 overall prospect and No. 11 QB in the 2026 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He’s also the No. 12 player in Texas.

On3 ranks Fette much higher than other recruiting services. He checks in at No. 54 overall, No. 5 at the QB position and No. 5 in the Lone Star State, per the 2026 On300.

“Blessed to announce my commitment to Arizona State University. Excited to continue to pursue my dream as a Sun Devil,” Fette wrote on social media announcing his decision.

As a sophomore, Fette threw for over 2,400 yards and 27 touchdowns to just five interceptions. He also ran for over 340 yards and an additional 13 scores, leading Del Valle to a 9-2 season. So far in 2024, Fette has acquired over 750 total yards and eight TDs in three games for the Conquistadors, who are 3-0.

The blue-chip junior is the first 2026 commitment for ASU head coach Kenny Dillingham and Co. The Sun Devils’ 2025 class also features a QB pledge in San Juan Capistrano (Calif.) J Serra Catholic three-star Michael Tollefson.
