Hugo took his official visit to Tempe this past weekend.
“I’m a very picky person when it comes to committing to a school,” Hugo said. “I’ve been to many schools and analyzed the best traits of each one. But Arizona State stood out to me the most. You know every school talks about having culture. But Arizona State actually had phenomenal team culture and it showed. The way the coaches interact with each other, coaches interact with players, and players interact with other players. It was all genuine love for each other! As well as my hosts Terrel Kim, Salesi Manu, Joey Sua, and AJ IA welcomed me and made me feel like I’m a part of the family they have at ASU.
“The coaching staff is just amazing and they really are who they put theirselves out to be.”
Hugo had a terrific junior year for one of the Lone Star State’s top programs. He racked up 83 tackles including 21 stops for loss, 10 sacks and 30 quarterback hurries.
