Baxley (Ga.) Appling County four-star linebacker and Arkansas commit Tavion Wallace is in Tallahassee visiting Florida State today, according to On3’s Steve Wiltfong.

Wallace has been committed to Arkansas since July 2, when he chose the Razorbacks over Georgia and the Seminoles.

The 6-foot-1.25, 216-pound Wallace took an official visit to FSU in June after visiting in January and April. He told On3 that his interest in Florida State had more to do with the people around the program than anything else.

“I would say the people. I’ve been coming here for over a year now, and they’ve been consistent, and the love has been the same, and it’s been real,” Wallace said. “That [consistency] is big in my recruitment. It’s the No. 1 thing I’m looking for when choosing a school.”

Arkansas defensive coordinator Travis Williams and head coach Sam Pittman developed serious relationships with the blue-chipper over time, and Wallace was impressed by his time in Fayetteville.

“I never thought I would consider them in any way possible, but you know T-Will, that’s my dog and when I took my first OV out there I was like ‘it’s going to be nothing but country living,’ but when I went up there I fell in love with it,” Wallace said earlier this year. “Coach Pittman, that’s my dog. Coach (Jake) Trump and the players around, if I went there it would be because of the people, the atmosphere and the culture and the things they’re doing around there.”

Wallace is the nation’s No. 151 overall prospect in the 2025 cycle according to the On3 Industry Ranking — a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is the No. 16 linebacker in the class and the No. 19 recruit from Georgia.
