Dallas (N.C.) Ashbrook three-star linebacker Caleb Gordon has committed to Arkansas, he announced on Tuesday.

He chose the Razorbacks after taking an official visit to Fayetteville over the weekend. He also held offers from the likes of Clemson, Virginia, NC State, Pitt and Georgia Tech.

Gordon is the No. 873 overall prospect and No. 73 LB in the 2026 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He’s also the No. 34 player in North Carolina.

Head coach Sam Pittman and the Hogs have now wrangled another commitment following a big weekend of visits. Arkansas quickly emerged in Gordon’s recruitment following an offer on May 14. He quickly set up an OV, logged it and is now on board with the SEC program.

Gordon is coming off a monster junior campaign for Ashbrook. He tallied 141 total tackles (49 solo), four sacks and a pair of interceptions last season, according to MaxPreps. Across his three seasons he has more than 300 total tackles to his name for the Greenwave.

Hogs continue to rack up commitments

On Monday, Arkansas landed its biggest win of the cycle as Prosper (Texas) four-star offensive tackle Bryce Gilmore announced his pledge. He was also in town over the weekend and ranks as the No. 200 recruit overall, as well as the No. 15 OT.

West Palm Beach (Fla.) Chaminade-Madonna three-star OT Ashley Walker committed on May 28 and was one of three additions to the class that month, alongside Pflugerville four-star tight end Jaivion Martin and Missouri City (Texas) Ridge Point three-star interior offensive lineman Hugh Smith.

Martin ranks as the No. 17 TE in the cycle and is one of four blue-chippers on the pledge list. Gilmore headlines alongside Durant (Okla.) four-star EDGE Colton Yarbrough and Texarkana (Texas) Liberty-Eylau four-star wide receiver Dequane Prevo.

Four defensive backs are in the class to date. Lawton (Okla.) MacArthur three-star safety Adam Auston and San Diego University City three-star safety Tay Lockett each committed last August. That month also brought a quarterback commitment from Elgin (S.C.) Gaffney three-star Jayvon Gilmore, the No. 45 QB in the cycle.

The class now features 17 total commits and ranks No. 23 nationally, according to the On3 Industry Team Recruiting Rankings. That’s good for No. 10 in the SEC, checking in ahead of South Carolina, Vanderbilt, Mississippi State, Florida, Missouri and Kentucky.
