Former Arkansas transfer wide receiver Jaedon Wilson has scheduled his first portal visit. The grad transfer entered college football’s free agency earlier this month.

Wilson is scheduled to visit Nevada on Nov. 2. He’s also been in contact with SMU as the portal continues to ramp up. The former four-star recruit had 15 catches for 199 yards and two touchdowns in 2023.

Nevada’s top two wide receivers, Jaden Smith and Cortez Braham Jr., are both sixth-year seniors. Wilson would provide a new option in the Wolf Pack’s wideout room.

Wilson announced in September he was stepping away from the Arkansas program. The junior has two years of eligibility remaining. Wilson is not wasting time and training to get back on the field. He’s working with wide receiver coach David Robinson this fall, who has trained Calvin Ridley, Marvin Harrison Jr. and Emmanuel Sanders.

He was listed third on the Arkansas depth chart behind Andrew Armstrong and Monte Harrison before his departure.

“I want to thank the University of Arkansas for providing me with an exceptional environment to grow both academically and athletically,” Wilson said in his statement. “I also want to give thanks and state how proud I am to be a graduate of the University of Arkansas.

“I am looking forward to the next chapter of my life as I will continue to dedicate myself to playing at the highest level of college football. I love the sport and my passion to play is greater than ever. I would like to wish the best to all the coaches and players at the University of Arkansas and I will be cheering for all of you.”
