According to Wilson’s message, it appears that he still intends to continue his football career. Just not with the Razorbacks as he entered his fourth season with the program this year. Not disclosing specifically what led to his decision to step away from the Arkansas program.

“I would like to wish the best to all the coaches and players at the University of Arkansas and I will be cheering for all of you,” Wilson added. I have treasured my time in Fayetteville and will miss my Hog family. Please understand and respect this decision for I truly believe it is best for me and my family at this time. Thanks go hogs!”

Wilson was a four-star high school prospect out of DeSoto, Texas ranked the No. 53 wide receiver for the 2021 recruiting class. And it will be fascinating to see if he reopens his recruitment through the transfer portal in the future.
