Army had a bit of fun at Air Force‘s expense ahead of Week 10’s rivalry matchup.

Fans of Air Force know that Falcon Stadium has its upper bleachers fixed to read ‘Air Force.’ However, this was altered to hilariously read ‘Chair Force,’ and was visible for onlookers to see from I-25.

It’s unclear who is responsible for the hilarious yet harmless jab at their rival.

Of course, Army is off to a historic start to the 2024 college football season. Beginning the year 7-0, the Black Knights are heavy 22.5-point favorites over Air Force this weekend. Meanwhile, Air Force has begun the year 1-6 — and has lost their last six after defeating Merrimack 21-6 in the season opener.

Air Force has already played Navy this season, falling to the Midshipmen 34-7 to help Navy improve to 5-0 earlier in the year. As is tradition, Navy won’t meet Army until the end of the regular season — and potentially the AAC Championship game as well. However, Navy’s undefeated streak was snapped after meeting Notre Dame in Week 9, losing to the Fighting Irish 51-14.

That leaves Army trying to keep its undefeated streak alive against Air Force on Saturday. Being such heavy favorites and given Air Force’s poor start to the season, it’s no surprise that the Black Knights are three-score favorites.

When it comes to the all-time series, however, the Falcons have historically dominated the series and currently lead the series 38-19-1. Although, the Black Knights have won three of the last four games in the series.

There was a stretch from 1997-2016 where Air Force won the annual matchup 18 times in 20 games. However, Army looks to be catching up on them fast and is expected to add another win to their all-time total on Saturday. For Air Force, it would love to play spoiler to the Black Knights’ undefeated season.

Kickoff is scheduled for Noon ET and will air live on CBS and Paramount+.
