Auburn, Neville Arena videoboard trolls Nate Oats over obliterating clipboard vs. Missouri

Nate Oats was called for a technical foul for punching his clipboard during the first half of Alabama‘s game vs. Missouri — and it was much to the amusement of the fans inside Neville Arena when the incident was replayed on the jumbotron during Auburn‘s game against Arkansas.
It appears they even played it in slow motion so that everyone in the arena could get a good look at their rival team’s coach in his moment of frustration.
The foul called on Oats came as the Crimson Tide trailed Missouri by 14 points in the second half. Mizzou would go on to lead by as many as 20 points before Alabama cut it to 13 at halftime.
Missouri would go on to defeat Alabama 110-98 and would never trail after scoring the first 12 points of the game.
Meanwhile, Auburn got to troll their rivals and leave Neville Arena with an Auburn victory after the Tigers bested Arkansas 67-60 in a game that was a bit too close for comfort for Auburn down the stretch. Auburn held a 60-59 lead over the Hogs before going on an 8-1 run to close out the game and secure their 24th win of the season.

Johni Broome recorded another double-double during the 16-point, 13-rebound performance against Arkansas. He was complemented by Chad Baker-Mazara and Chaney Johnson, who combined for 29 points off the bench for Bruce Pearl’s squad.
Alabama’s loss to Missouri further cements Auburn as the No. 1 team in the SEC and is now 2.0 games ahead of both the Crimson Tide and Florida Gators for the top spot in the conference standings heading into the weekend.
Now, Auburn will move forward in its schedule and is gearing up to take on a Georgia team this weekend that has lost each of its last three games. Tip-off for the Tigers vs. Bulldogs is set for Saturday at 4 p.m. ET and will air live on ESPN.
After Saturday, there are four games left on Auburn’s regular season schedule — and all are against teams currently ranked in the AP Top 25. The Tigers will finish the month of February at home against No. 24 Ole Miss before traveling to Rupp Arena to take on No. 17 Kentucky in Lexington. They’ll stay on the road against No. 7 Texas A&M before rounding out their regular season against the Crimson Tide at home.
