Auburn once again hosting Five-Star Plus+ Ohio State CB commit Na'eem Offord
Birmingham (Ala.) Parker Five-Star Plus+ cornerback Na’eem Offord has visited Auburn more than any other school. With the Tigers hosting No. 15 Texas A&M this afternoon, Offord is back on The Plains for yet another visit according to On3’s Jeffrey Lee and Chad Simmons.
Offord has been committed to Ohio State since Feb. 4, but Auburn has remained a thorn in the Buckeyes’ side when it comes to the Yellowhammer State prospect. After visiting Auburn three times between Aug. 31 and Sept. 28, Offord returned to campus on Nov. 2 when the Tigers played Vanderbilt. This will be his fourth game-day visit of the season.
He told On3 after that Vanderbilt game visit that the possibility of early playing time is certainly a factor in his interest in Auburn. Offord said that the immediate impact of freshman corner Jay Crawford stood out.

“For him to come in and be a big time impact player, it showed me a lot,” Offord said. “It showed that Coach Crime (Wesley McGriff) is a good coach and knows how to coach his players and develop you. Jay Crawford is a coachable player and that just shows you the development right there.”
Auburn is not the only school on Offord’s radar, however. He officially visited Florida last weekend and told On3 that the Gators are a ‘legit contender’ in his recruitment. Of course, Offord is still committed to the Buckeyes and is set to visit Ohio State for The Game against Michigan.
