Now, after ending a 28-game winning streak in Auburn’s house, the two will meet again in College Station tonight in Reed Arena. With two of the Top-5 teams in the SEC butting heads again, we should be in for another top-notch matchup within the league.

More on Auburn vs. Texas A&M

After starting 6-1 in the SEC, Auburn could use a win. That’s because the Tigers have dropped three of their last four games. One was the first matchup with the Aggies, another was a road trip to play West Virginia in the SEC/Big 12 Challenge, and the latest was a defensive slugfest in Knoxville against Tennessee. Finding some improved consistency on both ends will go a long way in helping them get revenge on A&M. Over this four-game stretch for them, their points and points allowed have both been all over the place.

In this matchup, Texas A&M is the team that is, literally, playing with house money. After winning three of their last four, including their victory at Auburn, the Aggies have remained atop the SEC with an 8-2 record. Now, to pick up a fourth win and five games, all they have to do is work with the same formula and check all the same boxes that got them their last win over the Tigers. That includes consistent, efficient offense from the field, not letting Auburn get going from distance, and beating them in the turnover and rebounding battle.
