Avion Carter locks in official visits to TCU and Texas

On3 Consensus 4-star defensive lineman Avion Carter has locked in two official visits in the month of June.
The 6-foot-3, 252-pound defensive tackle prospect will make a first official visit to TCU June 10. He’s scheduled to make a second official visit June 24 to Texas.
Carter is part of a June for TCU that will welcome more than a half dozen members of the On300. He will see a very familiar face when he arrives at TCU. His teammate at Amarillo Tascosa the last two seasons was On300 4-star playmaker Major Everhart. The speedster inked with the Horned Frogs in December.
The Horned Frogs and Longhorns are joined in the top four schools in contention by Oklahoma State and Texas Tech.
The No. 290-ranked prospect in the On300 for the 2023 cycle made an unofficial visit in April to Oklahoma State for the spring game. He is in the process of scheduling an official visit to see the Cowboys again.
