Ravens rookie center Tyler Linderbaum to miss 1-2 weeks after MRI result
The Baltimore Ravens have just released a status update on their first-round pick from the 2022 NFL Draft center Tyler Linderbaum. The former Iowa Hawkeye left practice early on Thursday after suffering a foot injury and had an MRI to gauge the severity of the damage.
On Friday, the Ravens head coach John Harbaugh said his rookie’s injury was not that severe, but he would likely miss one or two weeks while recovering.
“Linderbaum got the MRI back. It’s not a serious thing. It’s going to be probably at least a week, you know, just let it settle down; it could be two weeks. We’ll see,” said Harbaugh. “Of course, they will tell me (if it’s) otherwise, but it’s not going to be through the whole training camp unless something changes. So that’s where we’re at with that today.”
Fortunately for fans of the team, the injury Linerbaum suffered does not appear to be too severe in the eyes of the team doctors. Foot injuries such as a Lisfranc have derailed plenty of seasons for players, especially for offensive linemen. For now, the rookie must take it easy and prepare mentally for the upcoming 2022 NFL season.
Former Notre Dame safety Kyle Hamilton leaves Baltimore Ravens practice early after diving play
Baltimore Ravens safety Kyle Hamilton will presumably be one of the most-watched rookies this fall in the NFL, but the former Notre Dame standout is already dealing with a few minor injury hiccups, including one which required departing a Wednesday practice prematurely.

According to Jeff Zrebiec of The Athletic, Hamilton left the session with around 20 minutes left and headed into the locker room.
“After his best play of Wednesday’s practice, a diving pass breakup on a (Lamar) Jackson pass intended for a streaking (Isaiah) Likely, the rookie safety struggled to get up,” Zrebiec said. “Hamilton ultimately hobbled to the sideline and stayed there for several minutes, getting looked at by members of the athletic training staff. He did a series of stretches while on his back.”
Hamilton returned to the field for another play, but he pulled up and subsequently headed to the locker room while limping.
