One day after Texas secured its Big 12 Championship berth, Oklahoma State did the same. Now, with a week to go until kickoff, the early point spread is out.

The Longhorns are 10.5-point favorites over the Cowboys, according to FanDuel. The over-under is set at 52.5.

How to watch Texas vs. Oklahoma State in the Big 12 Championship

Time: Dec. 2, Noon ET
Channel: ABC, FuboTV
Location: AT&T Stadium, Arlington, Texas

Texas needed a victory over Texas Tech to punch its ticket to the Big 12 Championship, and the Longhorns did just that, handling the Red Raiders 57-7. They’re officially heading to Arlington — even if they don’t know their opponent at the time they clinched.

It was a complete performance from Texas, which got big performances on all three sides of the ball. Keilan Robinson had the biggest day with a rushing touchdown in the first half and a 95-yard kickoff return to start the second half. Jaydon Blue also added a touchdown, Quinn Ewers threw for a score and the defense added a huge pick-six from Jett Bush to help seal the victory.

As for Oklahoma State, it wasn’t easy to lock up a spot in the title game. The Cowboys trailed BYU for most of Saturday’s game in Stillwater, needing a victory to win the tiebreaker against Oklahoma. But they rallied back to take a 27-24 lead when Ollie Gordon ran in a 15-yard touchdown with 53 seconds to play. However, a late field goal from BYU’s Will Ferrin sent the game to overtime.

The Cougars struck first in the extra period when Jake Retzlaff took a six-yard carry into the end zone. That gave Oklahoma State the ball back, and Gordon notched his fourth touchdown of the game in response. His fifth score of the day put the Cowboys out in front once again, but a failed two-point conversion gave BYU the ball back.

That’s when Trey Rucker forced a fumble, which Oklahoma State recovered to punch its ticket to Arlington.

This will be the Cowboys’ second trip to the Big 12 title game in three years. They last headed to Arlington in 2021 when they took on Baylor in a 21-16 loss before heading to the Fiesta Bowl.

Oklahoma State and Texas didn’t play each other this year, but they’ve squared off each of the last two seasons after Steve Sarkisian took over in Austin. The Cowboys won both of those games, including last year’s 41-34 victory at Boone-Pickens Stadium.
