Big 12 announces individual honors, all-conference teams for 2023 football season
This was a different year for the Big 12, being in the limbo of conference realignment. While Texas and Oklahoma are soon on their way to the SEC, four new members joined for the 2023 football season. We now wait for Texas and Oklahoma State to compete in the Big 12 Championship game.
In the meantime, the Big 12 has announced individual awards and all-conference teams. Nine different awards were handed out to players, while one was reserved for a coach. First and second team members were listed as well, giving out some much-deserved recognition.
Across the two teams, Texas has the most representatives with 10 different players. Oklahoma was not too far behind, with six Sooners earning all-conference honors.
