Big 12 kickoff times for Week 8 announced
The Big 12 has announced kickoff times for Week 8, ahead of Week 7’s slate of action. The conference did this in a post on its Twitter account.
In total, the Big 12 announced kickoff times for four games and eight individual teams. While times and possible networks are listed, three of the games will be given their official network designation following Week 7’s slate of games. All games will be played on Saturday, October 22nd.
Only two Big 12 schools don’t have games during Week 8. They’re Iowa State and Oklahoma, who will be on their bye weeks.

Big 12 Week 8 kickoff times
Here are the four kickoff times for the Big 12 in Week 8:
- Kansas at Baylor, 11 AM CT, ESPN or ESPN 2
- West Virginia at Texas Tech, 2 PM CT, FS1 or FS2
- Texas at Oklahoma State, 2:30 PM CT, ABC
- Kansas State at TCU, 7 PM CT, Fox or FS1
The first Big 12 game of the day is going to be Kansas at Baylor. That will have an 11 AM CT kickoff. It will appear on either ESPN or ESP2. This game could be an interesting one. Both teams are looking to bounce back in Week 7 from losses. If both teams get some momentum going into the game, it could be one of the day’s biggest games.

Next up are the midday games. West Virginia and Texas Tech are kicking off at 2 PM CT and will be on either FS1 or FS2. This will likely depend on how Week 7 games go and which gets priority. However, the other midday game, Texas at Oklahoma State, is definitively going to be on ABC. That game is going to start at 2:30 PM CT.
The final game of the day, Kansas State at TCU, is set for primetime at 7 PM CT. Again, depending on the results, it will either be the game that Fox puts on or it could get bumped down to FS1. As of now, both teams are trying to make surprise runs at the Big 12 Championship. So, a win here could be huge.
