On Wednesday, the 2023 Big 12 Men’s Basketball Tournament officially gets underway in Kansas City, Missouri. Wednesday marks the start of the action with the first round, with the quarterfinals taking place on Thursday followed by the semifinals and championship Friday and Saturday.

Oklahoma State went on to defeat in-state rival Oklahoma for the third time this season in Wednesday’s nightcap. The Cowboys led the entire second half and ended up taking out the Sooners 57-49. Oklahoma’s 12-point scoring run in the first half was the only thing that kept the OU in the game, but ended up falling apart quickly in the second half.

The victory advances Oklahoma State to the quarterfinals, where they will take on Texas Thursday afternoon in the third game of the day.

More Big 12 Tournament action will continue Thursday afternoon at 11:30 a.m. CT with quarterfinal action between Iowa State and Baylor. The Bears are 4.5-point favorites heading into the matchup.
